GMA's SONA 2009


President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo delivered her last State of the Nation Address this afternoon at the House of Representatives in Quezon City.

The Congressmens and Senators including the Cabinet Secretaries, media people and guests were present at when she delivered her last SONA.

GMA's SONA of 2009 paint a rosy picture of the country.

GMA tell the Filipino people that the country is made gains in the last 8 years of her presidency. Remember she was catapulted into the presidency via EDSA DOS, after President Erap was thrown out of Malacanang January 19, 2001.

Outside the House of Representatives, the opposition to the administration launch their protest actions. Militant peoples organizations; workers, peasants, urban poors, drivers, unemployed, youth, women joined the rallies saying enough of GMA.

Erap also had his own version of SONA earlier. Saying that what GMA accomplished was making the Philippines the number 1 corrupt country in the world.

GMA's SONA 2009 was applauded by her supporters 124 times and lasted for 58 minutes.
