Orionid Meteor shower tonight

Watch the skies for the spectacular Orionid meteor shower tonight until dawn if the weather permit us to view this annual astronomical event.

The meteor shower will be visible in any place where you stood tonight. Choose the most widest place where you can stargaze meteor shower coming from the debris of Halley's comet a long time ago when it passed the sun.

Dozens of pea size and as small as grain of "shooting stars" falling from the night skies will illuminate the horizon per hour. But to us living in the cities there will be fewer meteors to see because of the pollution coming from the factories chimneys and vehicles mufflers.

The best place therefore would be in the countryside where the atmosphere is still less polluted and the air is fresher and good for your lungs. Dark skies would be perfect for viewing as if you were in a theater. Binoculars or telescopes are of no use because the meteors are so fast. So view it with your naked eye.

The "falling stars" vaporizes in the atmosphere so there is no danger it will fall into your head...LOL!

So let us watch the Orionid meteor shower tonight and make your wish upon a star... hahaha.
